| Greetings!
It has been way to long since an update. Since April, I had finished out my spring 04' semester horribly, went to France and London for 2 months which was spectacular--> the trip of a lifetime which I will NEVER forget! Then I came back, started up school and work again, celebrated my 20th birthday in October, went back to London over Thanksgiving break which was great, and recently celebrated Christmas. A brief summary with the highlights I feel are worth mentioning.
More specifics later.
New Years came so quickly as did 2004. This year went by insanely fast, it's almost scary. I spent the New Year at home, due to a nasty ass cold. It's unfortunate because I had awesome plans planned...
Tomorrow I'm going to NYC to see 42nd Street. It's going to stop running soon, so I have to see it! Looking foward to it.
Keep in touch everyone!
Lots of love- Amanda<3 | | |
| It's been such a long time, and Life has been crazy latley...so much to update. But I'll have to do it quickly. School and work are the same as always....u know...its there.
I went to Spain and Germany over spring break, which was amazing! It took my breath away.
But I must share sad news... For those who have never lost a pet or aren't animal lovers, this doesn't apply to you...(laugh if you must, cuz I know I have...just because I couldnt understand it). My black Labrador, PATTON, passed away on tuesday, april 6th, around 11AM. He was having seizures from the previous night. We brought him to the hospital early Monday morning, and he tested highly positive for lime disease. He stayed over night, and then Tuesday they called us, and said the meds. didnt' help, and that he started having siezures. He waited for us, and was glad to see us. He even managed to wag his tail, and then he had one more siezure and then passed away. When other people's dogs died, I just said sorry, not ever really knowing or caring about their pain. I never thought it was a big deal. I mean its just an animal right?!? But when I saw him in so much pain, it tore me up inside. I feel like I was losing a child or sibling. He was my childhood companion, and Patton was a huge part of my family's life for 10 amazing years. I'm so upset, as is the rest of my family.
He will always be in my heart.

| Happy New Year everyone!!
My New Year's was a good one. I spent it @ Meg O'Brien's house and Jon was there too. The three of us had fun. It was a cool, relaxed chill New Years...which is kind of how I preferred it to be
Winter break has been quick. Just been working, and taking care of business as usual. Nothing special. This week I'm going to Philadelphia with Diana for a few days. We desperatley needed a quick getaway. And its kinda of cool to, because neither of us have ever really been to Philly, even though its so close, so we figured we should go. | | |
| My computer is so gay. This online journal thing looks so boring without pictures....I can't figure out how to paste them on here. Everytime I try, my webpage shuts down. Any suggestions?
I'm officially on winter break. WOO-HOO!!! Although the semester flew, I was tired from school. Not stressed just burned out! Finals week or rather hell week was brutal. I slept a total of maybe 5 hours that week from studying, and it was still hard.
Work has been good. I love it! And I finally saw Meg O'B and Jon on Tuesday! I havent seen them in so long since they go to school in D.C. We went to Princeton and talked and laughed the night away. I love those crazy bastards. *good times * Also Ive been running into so many Notre Dame kids. I ran into Melissa Pe at church (being the angel that I am ) and then I ran into Christine Colaco at the mall yesterday who I worked with during the summer @ the YMCA (that was now she's a freshman @ good ol' Monmouth U. Then I ran into Andriana Santiago today after work in Zoe, this kewl store in Princeton. It felt like yesterday we we're all there. Everyone looks great tho..... All good people doin their thing....no doubt will all be successful in the future. I'm proud to be from my high school that produced sweet and yet driven people. It was wild to see them all again.
Christmas was good. Way too much family was at our house on Christmas, and I found my mother to be particularly irritating on that day. Well at least I was in the Christmas spirit...hehe Nah it was all good. A conversation I has with May summed up my holiday experience:
Me: So how was your Christmas?
May: Quiet but nice. U?
Me: Mine was loud and annoying ...but nice. hehe
May: lol | | |
